About the Association
International Software Developers Association “SmartSNG.Dev” is a non-profit community (it is not a legal entity in any country), the purpose of which is to support professionals in the field of software development, their professional competence, reputation, software skills and just a place where everyone can find like-minded people. The Association members’ geography is not limited to a certain region, and is in no way related to political or any other views.
Nowadays the Association has 2,161 members. At least 874 of them identify as backend developers and 582 as frontend developers. 41 members of the Association hold the title of honorary member.
Supreme body
Association Council
Steers the course of the SmartSNG.Dev Association. The Council forms the Admission Committee of recognized experts, each holding at least one externally verifiable mark of recognized standing in the field. The Committee reviews applications, approves the membership of every member, and conducts the expert review of candidates for honorary membership against the outstanding-achievement standard, conferring that status on its own. The Council forms the Committee but may not influence its evaluation, lower the outstanding-achievement standard, or alter the qualification requirements for its members (Bylaws §3.2.4.9).
