Labor market research

We study the IT labor market across the post-Soviet countries — using data from engineers themselves, not HR-portal digests.

Why

Market transparency
Salaries, work formats and hiring practices across the region are opaque and fragmented. We assemble them into an open picture you can trust.
Data-driven decisions
For engineers — understand your range and negotiating position; for companies — build fair compensation. Without guesswork.
Value to the community
It's part of the association's mission — to give the community back knowledge about the market it works in.

How

  1. 1

    Collection

An anonymous survey of engineers: grade, specialization, country, work format, compensation. Entered by market participants themselves.

  2. 2

    Normalization

We convert currencies to a single base (USD at the current rate) and validate ranges, filtering out input errors.

  3. 3

    Anonymity

k-anonymity: aggregates with fewer than 5 entries stay hidden. Raw data is never published.

  4. 4

    Publication

Live statistics on the salaries page, analysis and trends in the news. Open and free.

Help make the market more transparent

The more engineers share data, the more accurate the picture. It takes a minute and is fully anonymous.
