The SmartSng.Dev Association has published its annual analytical report “State of the IT Job Market 2025: Russia and CIS”, based on data from more than 850,000 IT job postings collected on hh.ru throughout 2025.

The report highlights key changes in the labor market and engineering culture across Russia and the CIS during the year.

  • On average, 1,600–1,700 new job postings appeared daily, with weekend activity dropping by 80–90%.
  • In the second half of the year, the number of vacancies nearly doubled compared to the beginning of the year.
  • More than 30% of vacancies offered remote work.

Thus, the highest demand was for middle-level engineers, but the market also remained open to juniors.

ANCOR, SBER, Yandex Crowd, Ozon, T1, MTS, Rostelecom, Yandex, VTB.
