Aleksandr Burmistrov

My career combines hands-on software development with technical leadership. At PioGroup Software, I am responsible for the company’s technical direction and contribute to the development of its product portfolio. DrivEd LMS is one of the projects to which I have dedicated many years of work, including architecture design, integrations, scaling, and ensuring reliability for K–12 schools, language centers, music academies, and corporate clients. The platform is used across multiple countries and supports the education of tens of thousands of students.

A significant part of my professional activity is teaching. Since 2009, I have been training developers—initially in offline educational centers and later online, including group courses “from scratch” as well as mentoring engineers at middle level and above. My goal is to prepare specialists who understand development processes, architectural principles, team collaboration, and real-world industry requirements.

I am also involved in expert activities: conducting code reviews, participating in performance reviews, consulting teams, serving on conference organizing committees, and acting as a judge at IT- and engineering-related events. In the EdTech domain, I work on my own tools and research initiatives, including the application of AI to automate the creation of educational materials.
