Ilia Popov

    I am the backend team lead at Samokat.Tech. Currently, we work with Go, but over more than twelve years in the industry, I’ve had experience with Java, PHP, Kotlin, and even some frontend development. My background includes both high-load projects and deeply integrated systems within large corporate environments.

    In addition to development, I’m also involved in hiring engineers and building teams. Perhaps this community will help us connect with future colleagues — our team values professionalism, respect, and a strong technical curiosity. I believe that developers from the post-Soviet region should engage with one another more often — and not just about hard skills.

    There are many professional and cultural topics where we can find common ground and grow together as a community.
