Mikhail Andreev

Senior iOS Developer at Dodo Engineering

About

I have been building iOS applications for more than five years, and all that time I have worked on products used at scale. Today I am a Senior iOS Developer at Dodo Engineering, responsible for core user journeys in the Dodo Pizza app, which operates in 25 countries.

My main piece of work in 2025 was intelligent search in Dodo Pizza: an A/B test showed a 27% increase in order conversion. It earned me the National Business Awards 2025. Before that I led the end-to-end rebuild of the combo ordering flow, shipped the new menu navigation with nested categories, and led the migration of the app's core modules to Swift 6 strict concurrency, which cut concurrency-related crashes by roughly 30%.

Earlier I worked at OneTwoTrip, where I rewrote the Orders module and introduced XCMetrics, shortening build time by about 14%, and at Raiffeisenbank, where I contributed to the app's design system and moved legacy UIKit code to SwiftUI. I hold a degree in Information Technologies and Programming from ITMO University.

Two things matter to me beyond the code. The first is accessibility: I make sure the apps I build are usable by people with special needs. The second is passing on experience: I led the iOS side of the Mobile Guild, a group of 13 engineers, ran its regular syncs, and mentored colleagues throughout projects.
