The SmartSNG.Dev association is moving its Genesis competition from September 2026 to January 2027. Along with the dates, the season gets a new name: Genesis Winter 2026.
Applications are open right now — we did not push registration back along with the competition, and it stays open all the way until the tasks are released.
New dates
- Applications — open now, until January 2, 2027, 12:00 MSK
- Task release in the dashboard — January 3, 2027, 11:00 MSK
- Solving the tasks — January 3 — 7, 2027, result upload until 18:00 MSK
- Judging — January 8 — 12, 2027
- Results and live stream — January 12, 2027, 18:00 MSK
What this means for participants
The format stays the same: the same four tracks, solo or team entries of up to 5 people, tasks from the partners, jury scoring against the rules' criteria. What moved is the competition schedule itself, keeping every interval between stages intact.
Applications submitted before this announcement remain valid — there is no need to reapply, they stay in the dashboard.
The full jury list will be announced no later than January 2, 2027 — before the tasks are released.
